Midas Marketing has journeyed alongside us as a start up venture to help translate a good idea into real revenue. Our Facebook following has grown from 100 to 4,000+ fans and our search engine rankings have improved significantly. Most importantly, they recognized that we needed online sales to keep us afloat as we source larger distribution channels. They worked with us to build an effective online store, while following all the traffic through Google Analytics. Overall, we’ve had a great experience with Midas.

When we started working with OilExTech and their cool new product that extracts essential oils using a microwaveable kit, they had around 100 Facebook fans. Two years later, they have over 4,000, along with 60,000 Youtube views, 800 email subscribers, and a focused e-commerce website. This is great, but the accompanying sales are what really matter. By developing these systems, we were able to communicate a complex and new product in a simple way that the everyday essential oil enthusiast would be able to understand and support.

 

Mobile-Friendly E-Commerce Website

OilExTech was passionate about not being another tech startup that raised funds for 5 years before even releasing a beta version of their first product. This bold move has been appreciated by customers, but has put the vision to the test, as sales are a big part of growing the company rather than just state-funded research dollars. Through this, we have worked to set up a fluid e-commerce site, payment processing support, and a shipping calculator.

 

SEO and Data Tracking

Over the last year, 70 percent of all online orders have come through search engine discovery. This is important because not only are we generating revenue successfully, but we know exactly where sales are coming from. Last December, search engines drove revenue over 10x the monthly spend on SEO, leading us to expand the SEO work in the new year. This is just an example of how we treat your business like our own and pay attention to everything we do, so we know what works and what doesn’t.

 

The Result

A start-up company with a great product and high technical expertise has adopted a friendly marketing voice through sound digital marketing. With intentional campaigns and a web platform focused on sales, average monthly online volume has grown from 1-5 units per month to 50 units and climbing in just two short years.
